On the Meaning of DevaDeva Wisdom tells me that I am nothing;
DevaDeva here points to the realization that, from an enlightened perspective, all is one. Everything we encounter arises in consciousness -- we never encounter anything outside of the heartmind (citta). To penetrate the illusion that the heartmind and the world are separate is to attain the non-dual awareness wherein the ordinary becomes extraordinary and the extraordinary becomes ordinary. This is the discovery that the divine is the fabric of the whole of existence -- non-dual awareness. Here we realize: More concretely, embodying this way of being from moment to moment naturally results in living with greater integrity, centeredness, happiness, compassion, clarity, joy, energy, radiant love, and understanding -- as well as joyful passion for doing good works in the world for the benefit of all sentient beings. May all beings be happy and free!
